Be Ready In Season and Out of Season

(continued)

...did get on the list so Judy leaned over to me during the evening’s muic and mentioned that she wanted to try and get on the list to. She boldly got up and talked with the manager.

Lo and behold, they had enough time left in the evening to add her, so Judy became the last performer of the evening! And it was very cool. There were a lot of talented singers that night, but Judy, who just happened to have her music for her new song “Heal Me”, offered something different. She introduced her song as a prayer for God’s healing. As she sang, everyone was respectful and attentive. Judy handled it so naturally and confidently. When she ended several people approached her with positive comments about the song, some even asking about contacting her. Judy brought the presence of God to the café that evening. As 2 Timothy 4:2 admonishes, we should be ready in season and out of season. Even though Judy is in a new season of life, motherhood, she was ready to minister to this unknown crowd. And the result was very cool.
