Hi there, and Happy 2012! I pray you’ve had a truly blessed and meaningful Christmas season, and this new year has begun on a wonderfully positive note for you! Our family has especially enjoyed this season with our curiously wide eyed 19 month old; the joy of her taking in the Christmas festivities, being bombarded with love via an outstanding amount of presents, and her most recent discovery in banging the pots and pans as we rung in the new year has had us all grinning inside and out. To watch her grow is beyond fascinating, and has especially reminded me to not only cherish each moment, but to be super intentional in the day to day as we live out our faith with her. And what a simple yet profound lesson for us all, yes? Ephesians 5:8-10, 15 and 16 puts it this way, ‘For you were once darkness, but...
